Yanga Sebatwa Crowned Idols SA Season 14 Winner

Another epic and extraordinary season of Idols SA produced an exquisite performance from all the big names on the show. The judges’ panel of Somizi, Randal and Unathi shocked Mzansi with their mouth-watering stage performance which left the rainbow nation spellbound. However, all eyes were on the two finalists Yanga Sebatwa and Thato Makape.

The finalists produced a melodious performance when they performed “Never Enough” by the greatest showman Cast. They also sang Dusk Till Dawn by Zayn Malik featuring Sia. This year’s Idols SA pulled in an astonishing record-breaking of the vote. The votes which were cast by South Africa surpassed the 100 million votes which were cast in the season 13.

At the end of it all, the youngest contestant on the show Yanga Sebatwa walked away with the 1million Rand prize. Her performance throughout the competition charmed South Africa. She has become the third consecutive female to walk away with the big prize. The likes of Noma Khumalo and Paxton Fielies are the previous two females who have charmed the nation.

Yanga Sebatwa might be amongst the list of the youngest millionaires in the country. She walked away with an amazing package prize which worth 1.5 million Rands. 1 million Rand cash prize, a Ford Fiesta Titanium, 1lite Ecoboost and a massive record label deal with Gallo Record Company. In addition to that, she also got a hefty fashion package from Truworthy worth R100 000, a router, data from Telkom and a Huawei Matebook.

Idols SA Season 15 Auditions Revealed

Idols SA has already revealed the season 15 audition dates. Kick-starting in Pretoria on the 26th of January then to Durban in the month of love on 9 February. On the 16th of February, it will go down in the city of gold before wrapping it up in Cape Town on 2 March. Make your date and you might be the next big thing in Mzansi.
